Students are finalists in the soap dispenser design competition

A student from Florida Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale was recently nominated as one of the finalists in the SC Johnson “Happy Hand” drinking fountain design competition.
Stella, a fourth-grade student, is shortlisted for kindergarten through the fifth-grade department and will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 award and a $300 gift card for his school. In addition, the award-winning design will be used on up to 1,000 manual soap dispensers.
On February 28th, a design contest will be held to vote. The focus of the contest is to increase the importance of hand washing and disinfection. Please visit happyhands.scjp.com/ChooseADesign.
“Each design exhibits incredible creativity, artistic talent and imagination,” said Mike Flagg, SC Johnson’s head of professional North America operations. “There is no doubt that hand hygiene is an important measure to prevent the spread of bacteria. The “Happy Hands” contest makes the education and promotion of clean hands in schools more memorable and attracts all students to participate.
